Terms of use
Last updated: TODO(owner): date they take effect
Who these terms are with
These terms are between you and TODO(owner): name of the person or company running TripPlanner. By using TripPlanner you agree to them.
TripPlanner is in beta and invite only
TripPlanner is still being built. Features can change or be removed, and it may sometimes be unavailable. Accounts are by invitation, and we can decide who gets one.
Check your plans before you rely on them
TripPlanner helps you plan; it does not guarantee your plan will work. Travel times and opening hours come from Google or are estimated, and can be wrong or out of date. Always check times, routes and opening hours yourself before you travel. We are not responsible for missed connections, closed places or other costs caused by relying on the plan.
Your trips are yours
You own what you put into TripPlanner. You allow us to store it, keep it in step across your devices, and show it to the people you invite — and nothing else.
Using TripPlanner fairly
- Do not use TripPlanner to break the law or to harm other people.
- Only invite people who would expect to hear from you.
- Do not try to get into trips or accounts that are not yours, or to overload the service.
- Keep your access keys secret. Anyone who has one can read and change every trip on your account, so delete a key you no longer need.
Ending your account
You can stop using TripPlanner at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms. TODO(owner): what happens to trips shared with other people when their owner leaves, and to accounts nobody uses.
Google Maps
TripPlanner uses Google Maps. By using it you also agree to the Google Maps terms and Google's privacy policy.
Changes and the law that applies
If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
TODO(owner): which country's law applies, and where disputes are settled.
